Before you write
Do I need musical experience to volunteer?
It helps, but it is not required. Patience and respect matter just as much as technique, and every volunteer is trained before working with participants.
Who takes part in your sessions?
Children and individuals with special needs and disabilities, arranged through the schools, clinics, care facilities, and community organizations we partner with.
Is this music therapy?
No. We run volunteer-led music enrichment. We are not licensed music therapists and we do not provide clinical music therapy or healthcare services, so our programs are not a substitute for the work of qualified healthcare and therapy professionals.
